Who are we?
We are a husband and wife team, who have a long standing association with
Ballroom and Latin American dancing. Having decided to turn our focus to teaching,
we aim to cater for everyone from the absolute beginner or social dancer, through
to those who may in time want to take it more seriously and maybe go through a
recognised medal programme. We can also offer tuition for those who are already
competing on the “Open” competition circuit, or those who may consider doing that in
the future. We have a wealth of experience gained over a span of around 20 years,
mostly spent around the competitive circuits. Over the years we have worked with
many world renowned teachers and dancers, some of whom appear regularly on
the “Strictly Come Dancing” show.
We are fortunate to be backed up by a skilled and dedicated team of helpers/student
teachers who also have a wealth experience to draw on. Despite their youth, some
have represented Great Britain at various levels and danced all over the world, and
are valued members of our team.

Principle Teachers (Wayne & Gaynor) |
|
Wayne Living proof that you CAN actually teach people who
have “two left feet” to dance!. Wayne was talked into
attending a group beginners class by Gaynor some 20
years ago. Sadly lacking in confidence, he was
fortunate enough to have a great firs teacher who soon
got the confidence going, he never looked back after that.
Within a couple of years he was competing on the Open
competition circuit. Favourite dance, Rumba.Other hobbies, anything that involves kicking or hitting
a ball, and motor cycle racing. |
Gaynor
The real driving force!. Talked Wayne into
dancing…,and still has the bruised toes to prove it!.
Competed with Wayne on the Senior Latin Circuit until
time constraints curtailed their competitive careers, as
their 3 children (all by now dancing) started to rocket
through the ranks, all representing Great Britain at
various age groups, and competing all over the world.
Now that the children are grown up, Wayne & Gaynor have
decided to channel their experience and energy into
teaching, and hopefully help others to get as much fun
and enjoyment out of dancing as themselves.
Favourite dance, Paso-Doble
Other hobbies, dancing, dancing, dancing, and more
dancing!

Alex
Danced from the age of around 5. Won more competitions than we can
list here at Juvenile/Junior and Youth Levels. Representing Great Britain
both in domestic competitions and abroad, before taking a break to
concentrate on a career in the leisure industry, where is now a fully
qualified personal trainer and Gym Manager at Chanctonbury Leisure.
Centre (Storrington).
Other Hobbies, Playing Rugby for Pulborough Rugby club.
|
Antonia
Also danced from around 3-4!. Again winning many competitions
along the way.
followed her brothers by being picked for the British Team at Juvenile
level. Antonia’s competitive career was somewhat fragmented due to the
fact that growing spurts meant she was constantly out growing her
partners!. Nevertheless, she has always maintained her keenness and
has always kept up the standards of her own dancing by having regular
lessons with some of the countries top coaches.
|
Greg
Also danced from around the age of 6. The oldest of the 3 children and
the first one to represent Great Britain at various levels. Also travelled
extensively representing his Country both domestically and abroad, with
Germany, Holland, France and Russia being just a few destinations. Also
held the prestigious “North of England” Ballroom title (Blackpool) at Junior
level.
Other Hobbies, Playing rugby for Pulborough (when available). Greg is
currently unavailable for teaching due to being away, doing shows and
teaching on cruise ships around various parts of the world.
